How to fix the "Error Connecting to Booking Server" issue

How to identify the issue

This issue most commonly appears after adding services (such as Restaurant Reservations or Magic Moments) or modifying transit. You may notice one or more of the following:

  • You cannot make changes to any lines in the Presentation Editor

  • Itinerary elements appear in the wrong order

  • You are unable to make any changes to the itinerary at all

  • Scrolling to the beginning of the trip shows the message "Error Connecting to Booking Server"

Steps

  1. Click the three-dot menu (β‹―) in the upper right corner of the itinerary. [SCREENSHOT: Show the three-dot menu in the upper right corner]

  2. Select Refresh Quote. [SCREENSHOT: Show the "Refresh Quote" option in the dropdown]

  3. The itinerary will refresh and you should now be able to continue working and making updates in the Presentation Editor.

Tips & Important Notes

Check your services after refreshing. Depending on the situation, the services you added before the error appeared may not have saved. After refreshing the quote, review your itinerary to make sure everything is still there. If any services are missing, reach out to itrvl support for assistance.
