How to import a booking

Summary: Learn how to import a booking into itrvl using a booking reference number. Bookings can be created in itrvl or in the Wilderness Window and then imported to your client's record. This guide is for Travel Designers who need to pull in an existing booking to manage it in itrvl.

Prerequisites
You have a client record in itrvl
You have the booking reference number (a unique 6 or 7 digit number), either created in itrvl or received from the Wilderness or itrvl team
Steps
Navigate to the Client Details page for the client you want to import the booking to.

[SCREENSHOT: Show the booking reference input field]Click Import to pull the booking into the client's record.
[SCREENSHOT: Show the Import confirmation button]The booking will now appear on the Client Details page under the client's itineraries. Click on it to review the details.
Tips & Important Notes
Make sure you're on the right client. Before importing, double-check that you're on the correct Client Details page. The booking will be linked to whichever client you import it under.
Booking not showing up? If the import doesn't work or the booking doesn't appear, the reference number may be incorrect or the booking may not have been fully generated yet. Reach out to itrvl support for help.
You can also search by reference. If you need to find a booking that's already been imported, use the search bar at the top of itrvl and enter the booking reference number to jump straight to it.
