How to set margin to zero for nett bookings

For net bookings, the margin needs to be set to zero before invoices are generated. This article covers how to do that in itrvl.

How to set margin to zero

  1. Open the booking in itrvl.

  2. Click the pen icon on the Margin box.

  3. Use the slider to bring the margin down to 0%. For fine adjustments, use the arrows next to the percentage figure rather than the slider.

  1. Confirm the Selling Price now matches the Supplier Cost exactly.

  2. Click Save.

Important: Always set margin to zero before generating invoices. Once invoices have been generated, changes to the margin will not automatically update existing invoices — you will need to delete and regenerate them.
