Also known as: move dates, shift dates, change travel dates, update start date, reschedule trip, adjust dates, new dates
Prerequisites
You have an existing itinerary in itrvl
Accessing Copy to Builder
You can start this process from two places:
From the Client Details page, find your itinerary and click the dropdown arrow next to it, then select Copy to Builder
From within the itinerary, click the dropdown arrow next to Presentation Editor, then select Copy to Builder

Changing the start date
In the builder, click the Change Start Date button to open the calendar pop-up.

Use the calendar arrows and dropdown menu to select your new start date.

itrvl will automatically check availability for your itinerary at the new dates.
Handling availability
If all nights are available, the Generate Quote button will be enabled and you can proceed to the next step.
If any nights are unavailable, they will be highlighted in orange. Use the Shift Start Date arrows to move the start date one day at a time until full availability is found.

Generating the updated quote
Once all nights are available, click Generate Quote.

A pop-up will appear asking if you want to retain your services (tours, excursions) and transit (transfers). Confirm your preferences.

itrvl will generate a new booking reference number with the updated start date. Your itinerary is now updated with the new dates.
Tips & Important Notes
Orange means unavailable. If you see nights highlighted in orange after selecting a new date, those specific nights don't have availability at one or more of your accommodations. Use the shift arrows to nudge the date forward or backward one day at a time until everything clears.
New booking reference. Changing the start date through Copy to Builder generates a new booking reference number. Make sure to share the updated reference with your client and any relevant team members.
Retain your work. When the confirmation pop-up appears, you have the option to carry over your existing services and transit. In most cases you will want to retain these to avoid having to re-add them manually.
