Prerequisites
You have an itinerary open in itrvl
DMC costing has been entered (see How to add DMC costing for Global bookings)
The itinerary has been published and you have requested a hold
Steps
Adjusting your margin
Locate the Margin box in the middle section of your itinerary.
Click the pen icon on the Margin box to open the margin editor.

Use the main slider to adjust the margin percentage to your desired amount.

For more precise control, use the arrows next to the percentage to increase or decrease the margin in smaller increments.

Review the selling price to confirm it reflects the margin you've set.
Generating invoices
You can generate invoices in two ways:
Click the Generate Invoices text under the percentage in the Cost Summary section, or

Navigate to the Payments tab and click the Generate Invoices button

Adjust the margin slider if needed, then click Generate Invoices.
Editing invoices
To edit an invoice, click the pencil icon on the left end of the invoice you want to update.

Make your changes and click Save Invoice.

Creating additional invoices
To create a new invoice beyond the ones already generated, click the New Invoice button.

Fill in the invoice details and click Save Invoice.
Deleting invoices
To delete all invoices at once, click the Delete Invoices button and confirm your selection.

To delete a specific invoice, click the pencil icon to open it, then click Delete Invoice.

Tips & Important Notes
Use the arrows for precision. The main slider is great for big adjustments, but the arrows give you much finer control when you need to land on a specific margin percentage.
Selling price and invoicing don't have to match exactly. They just need to be within the threshold, which is plus or minus $5 for Jacada. If your invoice amount falls outside this range, you'll need to adjust your margin or selling price to bring them into alignment.
Review before sending. After generating or editing invoices, review them carefully before sharing with the client. You can always edit, add new invoices, or delete and regenerate if needed.
