How to add and manage services in your itinerary

Summary: Learn how to add, reorder, and remove services (tours, excursions, day trips, activities, sightseeing) for accommodations, airports, and other transit points in itrvl using the Edit Services feature. This guide is for Travel Designers building or updating itineraries for their clients.

Prerequisites

  • You have an itinerary open in itrvl

  • Accommodations and transit points have been added to the itinerary

Adding services

  1. Open your itinerary and click the Edit Services button above the first Transit Point at the top of your itinerary, next to Edit Transit.

  2. Click Edit Services next to the accommodation or transit point where you want to add the service.

  3. Search for a specific service by name or supplier, or scroll the list to browse. Select your service by clicking the checkbox or the service name.

  4. A calendar pop-up will appear. Select the date or dates you want by clicking on them, then click anywhere outside the calendar to confirm.

  5. Once you have selected all the services you need, click Save Changes.

  6. Repeat steps 2 through 5 for any other accommodations or transit points that need services.

Reordering services

  1. To change the order of services, drag and drop them into your preferred sequence. You can reorder services within the same day or move them to a different day entirely.

Saving your changes

  1. Once you have added and arranged all services, click Save Changes in the upper right corner of the screen.

Tips & Important Notes

Search by supplier or name. If you know the supplier but not the exact service name, you can search by supplier to see all their available services.

Drag and drop to reorder. You can rearrange services by dragging them between days or within the same day. This is a quick way to adjust the flow of your client's trip without removing and re-adding services.

Removing services. To remove a service you no longer need, deselect it or use the remove option before saving your changes.
