Prerequisites
You have an itinerary open in itrvl
Accommodations have been added to the itinerary
Understanding transit points vs transit
Before getting started, it helps to understand the difference between the two options you'll see in the transit editor.
A Transit Point is a physical location or hub, such as an airport, port, train station, or accommodation. A Transit (also called a transfer) represents how your client gets from one transit point to another, such as a road transfer, flight, or boat transfer.
Key rules
You cannot add more than one transit between the same two transit points
You cannot add a transit without a transit point before and after it
You cannot add a transit as the very beginning of your itinerary
Opening the transit editor
Open your itinerary and scroll down to the beginning of the trip.
Click Edit Transit.

White boxes will appear beneath each accommodation or transit point where transit is needed, showing you the gaps in your travel plan.

Adding a transit (transfer)
Click Add Transit under the accommodation or point you want to connect.

A pop-up will appear. Click Insert Own Arranged Travel.

Select the type of transfer you want to add, such as Road Transfer, Flight, or Boat Transfer.

Enter a name or description for the transit in the text box, or leave the default name (which will show the two transit points it connects). You can update this later if needed.
Click Add Transit to save.

If you want to add a stopping point between accommodations (such as an airport or port), click Add Transit Point instead of Add Transit.

Search for your desired transit point.

If the exact location is not available, select any placeholder transit point and update the name later in the Presentation Editor.
Click Add Transit Point to add it to the itinerary.
You will now see options to add transit before and after your new transit point. Repeat the steps above to add transfers for each leg of the journey.

Saving your changes
Once all transit points and transfers have been added, click Save Changes in the upper right corner.

Click Confirm Changes to finalize your updates. The itinerary will update with all the transit you just added.

Tips & Important Notes
You can edit transit at any time. Unlike accommodations and travel dates, transit can be updated regardless of the itinerary status. You don't need to worry about whether the booking is in Pending, Quote, Confirmed, or any other status.
Transit point not in the system? If you can't find the exact transit point you need, add a placeholder and rename it later in the Presentation Editor. This keeps your itinerary moving while you sort out the details.
Check for gaps after saving. After confirming your changes, scroll through the itinerary to make sure every leg of the journey has transit assigned. Missing transfers can cause confusion for your client when they view the Client Portal.
